Swarm Bunker Lust Defense Public Demo & Launch Notes
Documented milestones from Demo V2 and V3 through the August 2026 Steam release.
001Studio-NSFW published several major demo updates on Steam before the full launch of Swarm Bunker: Lust Defense. This page consolidates public announcement text from those milestones plus launch-day framing for the paid game. We do not list fabricated post-launch version numbers—only changes the developer communicated to players.
For a buyer-focused summary of what demo progress means today, read Demo to full release. For ongoing tracking, return to the Updates Hub.
Demo V2 — main stages, Lina, and base life
The Demo V2 announcement expanded the campaign slice players could access in the free build:
- Main stages 4–6 unlocked — demo routes no longer stopped at the early chapter cap; mid-campaign defense layouts and enemy mixes became playable.
- Lina exclusive story — three new story segments for the heavy-artillery mechanic, including one adult event tied to her route.
- Room resting animations — after a heroine joins your faction and you clear a stage together, her room gains an exclusive resting animation you can trigger between missions. This made the bunker hub feel less static than early demo builds.
- Challenge Stage 2 — an extreme challenge option appeared after completing all main stages available at that time, giving min-max players a harder ruleset to test.
Mechanically, V2 reinforced the game’s pitch: survive swarms, return to base, deepen bonds, unlock scenes. If you are learning the loop fresh on the full release, pair these notes with How to Play and the Walkthrough.
French localization & extra challenge content
A follow-up demo note added French language support, aligning with the broader localization plan that later appeared on the Steam store (ten interface languages at full launch). The same period introduced an additional challenge stage after finishing the demo campaign, with the developer noting more challenge content would arrive in future updates.
French-speaking players could finally read UI and story text natively during the demo period—useful context if you wonder why FR appears in early patch history but other languages rolled out on the full store page.
Demo V3 — Nora, turrets, and stage 9
Demo V3 was the largest public leap before paid release:
- Main progression to Level 9 — the demo ceiling moved again, exposing late-demo waves and economy tuning not seen in V2.
- Nora joins the roster — the lazy scientist heroine arrived with three story events and one H-scene, expanding the cast beyond Celine and Lina.
- New turret mechanics — deployable automation gained fresh behaviors, reinforcing Nora’s fantasy as an inventor whose gadgets do the real DPS.
- Challenge levels temporarily removed — Challenge Stage 2 (and related extreme modes) were pulled while the team reworked them. The developer stated they planned to reintroduce challenge content once or twice before release; treat removed modes as work-in-progress, not deleted forever.
If your muscle memory comes from V2 challenge farming, expect a gap until full-game modes stabilize. Turret changes also shift meta rankings—see Turrets tier list after you unlock new emplacements.
Full release — August 3, 2026
Swarm Bunker: Lust Defense left early demo status and launched on Steam PC, August 3, 2026 (app 4403260). Store-facing highlights at launch included:
- Single-player adult pixel tower defense with visual-novel style base segments.
- Three heroines — Celine, Lina, and Nora — each with bond progression and hand-drawn adult animation.
- Projectile-heavy combat — personal firearms, automated turrets, and artillery support against alien swarms.
- Ten interface languages on the full store page, carrying forward the localization work begun in demo patches.
- Four Steam achievements and a short introductory discount window on the store listing.
The demo (app 4431200) remains downloadable for players who want to try combat feel before purchase. Saves and content boundaries differ—Demo to full release explains expectations without spoiling routes.
Demo June 14 prep — pre-launch bugfixes
Before the August full release, a June 14 demo preparation update landed on the free build with player-facing fixes:
- UI localization prep — additional interface strings and layout checks ahead of the ten-language full-game Steam listing.
- Heart double-deduction bug — bond or life hearts could deduct twice in certain hub flows, sticking story progression until restart or segment replay.
Demo saves affected by the heart bug should replay stuck nights after updating. Full detail sits on Launch hotfixes alongside post-launch partner events.
Post-launch hotfixes — v1.0.1 through v1.0.5
001Studio-NSFW published Hotfix Version notes on Steam partner events after launch. We document v1.0.1 through v1.0.5 only—no invented later versions. Line-by-line breakdown: Launch hotfixes.
Summary bullets:
- v1.0.1 — blank story backgrounds; battle music not looping; incorrect wave data making one stage excessively difficult.
- v1.0.2 — too many SFX lowered music volume; gallery images displayed incorrectly.
- v1.0.3 — achievements could not be unlocked; previously completed conditions re-checked on restart and awarded.
- v1.0.4 — some character illustrations; minor stage balance adjustments.
- v1.0.5 — issue that could prevent story progression.
Achievement hunters should read Achievements after applying v1.0.3+. Stage grinders should retry missions fixed by v1.0.1 wave data before changing builds.
What we are not tracking here
Undated silent patches beyond v1.0.5 and undisclosed backend changes are omitted unless 001Studio-NSFW posts about them. After launch, check Steam news first; we append summaries to Launch hotfixes when new partner events exist.
